CBM Release Time Program
Our release time program is held for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students from Oak Hill R-1 Grade School on the last Monday of every month for one hour. This program began last year with an average of 12 students attending. This was the first program of its kind in the state of Missour. Since the program began last year other programs have been started around the state.  Please keep this unique ministry opportunity in your prayers as we hope to reach kids who may otherwise not be able to attend church

What is release time education?

Release time education is a way to give non-denominational Christian education to students at a church or other location during the school day.  We bus students from a local grade school to the church for an hour of Christian education, then bus them back for the remainder of the school day.

Is it legal?

Yes.  It is legal in every state.  Each parent must sign a release form for the student, and to the school, it is just like the students are being released
for any other parental approved activity. No school funding is to be used.
